The M1 Training Buddy is designed to simplify the process of dryfire practice. Something that competition M1 shooters, and actually all shooters , will appreciate. When inserted into an enbloc clip, and then into the M1 magazine, it locks in place allowing easy manipulation of the bolt for cocking. Use the clip ejector to remove. Without this tool, one would have to lower the rifle, depress the follower, cycle the bolt, and hope they got their thumb back. No more worries. I saw these for the first time when the Danish Garands came back to the CMP years ago. I decided to manufacture some for the shooters out there.

We suggest the use of a snap cap or fired case to help buffer the firing pin strike. This also will not allow the insertion of a loaded round while practicing.
