Taking care of your rifle is without a doubt a labor of love. One thing many shooters seem to forget is the fact that the muzzle of that rifle will wear. You can’t get the tight fit back, but you can track the decline. Does your beautifull rifle seem to always shot high or left and right? It could be your Muzzle.

The NDK Erosion tool will tell you what you need to know. The nice thing is, they are easy to use. Insert and take note of your initial reading, and document it. Nothing else to do. I would suggest taking readings every 500-1,000 rounds, per the instructions of my now deceased former friend and USMC match armorer, Michael Gingher,a name that was well known around Camp Perry, and other ranges.
